The NA2RE project compiles updated data about the distribution of European amphibians and reptiles. The present data is based in the last compilation performed by the Mapping Committee of the Societas Europaea Herpetologica (SEH), published as an open access article in 2014 in Amphibia-Reptilia, the leading European multi-disciplinary journal of the SEH:

NA2RE is an evolution of the Atlas of European Amphibians and Reptiles published by the Societas Europaea Herpetologica in 1997 and reedited in 2004 (with a new chapter about taxonomical changes). NA2RE is based in a system of distributed online databases. Find more information at:
